What we read
AbstractMetrics reads the Google Analytics and Search Console properties you select. Google account access is requested when you choose to connect. The dashboard and connector cannot change Google settings, website content or indexing.
Where reports go
The dashboard sends report data from Google to your signed-in browser. The ChatGPT connector requires a separate Google authorization and an explicit approval to share your selected properties. When you use it, requested report data travels from Google through AbstractMetrics to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. ChatGPT's data controls and policies apply to information it receives.
Reports are processed in memory. A private cache reuses successful reports for five minutes to reduce repeated Google requests. Cache entries are checked against your current account permissions. Report contents are never saved in Firestore or browser storage by the application.
What is stored
Firebase Authentication stores your Google login identity, which can include your email, name and profile image. Your name and profile image are not shown publicly by AbstractMetrics. Firestore stores website and property selections, encrypted Google refresh tokens and connected account details, encrypted connector authorization state, sessions and usage counters. Dashboard and ChatGPT Google credentials are kept separately. Refresh tokens let the app retrieve reports you request without asking you to sign in for each report. They are encrypted before storage. App secrets and the encryption key are held in Google Secret Manager. Google access tokens are short-lived and kept in memory.
Cloudflare provides HTTPS delivery and forwards requests to our Google Cloud service. Analytics responses are not cached at Cloudflare. Google Cloud and Cloudflare may process operational metadata such as IP addresses and request URLs. Google callback request URLs are excluded from the app’s Google Cloud request log sink because they can contain temporary authorization codes. Connection outcome logs contain fixed status codes without account details or credentials. Dashboard report filters are sent in request bodies. Application logs exclude report contents, Google access tokens and authorization credentials.
Your controls
Remove a website in Connections to stop report access to its selected properties. Disconnect ChatGPT from the ChatGPT tab to revoke its AbstractMetrics approvals. Disconnect Google from Connections to stop both reporting connections, remove saved property selections and revoke stored Google credentials. You can also remove AbstractMetrics in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Google may revoke related permissions together, in which case you will need to connect again.
Registration is currently limited to the private beta. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking. Use Delete account in Connections to remove your login and connection records after any subscription has ended. You will be asked to sign in again and confirm deletion. Access stops immediately. If Google cannot confirm revocation, the encrypted credential remains blocked so you can retry. If account cleanup fails after access is disabled, contact info@abstractmetrics.com so we can complete it. A minimal deletion marker is kept for 32 days to block older credentials. Expired sessions and usage records are removed through automatic retention rules, which run asynchronously. Older records without an account index expire under those rules. Billing records may be retained where required.
Subscriptions
When billing is enabled and you choose Pro, Stripe handles payment information on its hosted checkout page. AbstractMetrics stores a Stripe customer reference, subscription status and monthly usage totals. Card numbers are never received or stored by this app. Free does not require a payment card. Billing records may need to be retained to meet accounting obligations. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment processing.
Use of Google data
Google data is used to provide the reports you request. It is not sold, used for advertising or used to train AI models by AbstractMetrics. AbstractMetrics follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Reports sent to ChatGPT are subject to your OpenAI account’s data controls and applicable policies.
